John Michael Gonzalez was raised in Orange, Texas, where he graduated from Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School.  John Michael next attended Texas A&M University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science prior to receiving his Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law.
