Laura O’Toole was born and raised in Beaumont, Texas. She earned her law degree from the University of Texas School of Law in 1991 and has practiced in Austin since 1994. Laura O’Toole is the co-author of Betting Booze & Brothels, Vice, Corruption and Justice in Jefferson County, Texas from Spindletop to the 1960s published by Eakin press in 2006.
