Zaid Husain was born and raised in Houston Texas. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2009 with a degree in Government. Zaid earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law Houston in May of 2014. While in law school, Zaid served as an officer for the Board of Advocates and was inducted into the Phi Delta Phi legal honors society. Zaid also competed in numerous national tournaments as a member of South Texas’ varsity moot court and mock trial programs, where he was recognized as a Top 3 Oralist at the National Health Law Moot Court Tournament. Zaid also worked on Capitol Hill, in Washington, D.C. Prior to receiving his undergraduate degree, Zaid attended the prestigious Culver Military Academy boarding school.
Zaid is also an Adjunct Professor at South Texas College of Law, where he gives back as one of the coaches to the Nation’s #1 ranked Moot Court Program, and has won a National Championship as a coach.
Zaid represents a wide variety of clients who are based locally, nationally, and internationally. Zaid’s practice focuses on civil litigation, including negligence, wrongful death, defective products, and defending commercial entities with regards to premises liability, premises security, and DTPA claims.
