Susana G. Sosa is a native of Venezuela who has called Houston home for over 20 years. She graduated cum laude from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management. Susana attended Oklahoma City University School of Law where she was a member of the Moot Court Society, Hispanic Law Student Association, and Animal Law Group.
Susana focuses her practice in labor and employment litigation, including Title VII discrimination, harassment, retaliation, on-the-job injuries, ADA accommodations, and FMLA and FLSA compliance issues. Besides counseling private and public employers in labor and employment matters, Susana represents employers before administrative government agencies, such as the EEOC, DOL, DHS, and TWC.
Susana also focuses her practice in defending governmental entities in civil rights matters, including those brought under 42 U.S.C. §1983, involving excessive force, false imprisonment, and wrongful death matters.
