Renee Nguyen

Renee Nguyen is a litigation attorney who also has a strong passion for appellate work. She joined Germer’s Houston office in 2023 after practicing in Austin, Texas. Renee advocates for her clients in a wide range of practice areas which include labor and employment, non-competition agreements, trade secrets, premises liability, personal injury defense, and commercial business matters. Renee practices in state and federal trial courts, including Texas appellate courts and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Her experience also includes resolving disputes in arbitration and mediation.

Renee graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Communication Studies. She had a career in the public sector prior to law school as a Legislative Aide at the Texas Capitol and later advocated for crime victims at the Texas Attorney General’s Office. Renee received her J.D. from South Texas College of Law. She was an active member of her law school’s Moot Court Advocacy Program and earned recognition as one of the Dean’s outstanding advocates.

On her free time, Renee enjoys being outdoors with her dog Tiger, playing golf, painting dog portraits, and exploring new travel and foodie destinations.
