Nicole Thacker

Nicole Thacker joined Germer in 2024 upon completion of her clerkship in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, McAllen Division, one of the busiest divisions in the nation.  Nicole was born and raised in China, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in linguistics.  Nicole moved to Austin in 2016 and decided to pursue law degree. During law school, Nicole served as a student attorney at St. Mary’s Center for Legal and Social Justice and won a verdict for her client in a consumer law matter.

In her free time, Nicole is an avid hiker and traveler. She has left her footprint at the basecamp of Himalaya Mountains and in the savanna of Maasai Mara.

Nicole is licensed in Texas, and is a member of the State Bar of Texas. She mainly practices in the areas of commercial litigation, construction law, insurance law, and products liability.
