Lori B. Wiese, a native Texan, has practiced law in Houston since 2001 and began her practice in Dallas in 1988. She joined Germer in 2019 as a trial lawyer with 30 years of trial experience representing insurance companies, hospitals and physicians, corporations and individuals throughout Texas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Colorado.
She is a 1984 cum laude graduate of Southern Nazarene University, Bethany, Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science. Lori earned her Juris Doctorate from Baylor University School of Law in 1988, and at Baylor was a member of the Order of Barristers from 1986-1988, Secretary of Delta Theta Phi and Student Bar Representative.
Lori is licensed in Texas and the United States District Court for the Southern, Eastern, Northern and Western Districts of Texas. She is a member of the Texas Bar Association, Delta Theta Phi alumni, active in many charitable organizations and has participated as a speaker throughout her career on topics such as third-party liability and exposure reduction, spoliation of evidence, insurance subrogation strategies, selection of experts, general Texas law updates as well as contributions to in house counsel publications.
Lori practices in the areas of medical malpractice defense, product liability defense, health law and complex civil litigation. Her experience also includes construction defect litigation, toxic torts defense, large loss defense and subrogation and commercial defense litigation.
