Lauren N. Herrera graduated from Texas A&M University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. She earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law Houston. While in law school, Lauren served as President of the South Texas Student Bar Association. She was inducted into the Order of the Lytae and the Phi Delta Phi legal honors society. She was also a Langdell Scholar for Federal Income Taxation. Additionally, she interned for the Honorable Justice Eva Guzman of the Texas Supreme Court and the Honorable Debra Ibarra-Mayfield of Harris County Court Number 1. Lauren was also a member of the Board of Advocates and Varsity Moot Court program at South Texas. She was a finalist in the 2013 Hispanic National Bar Association National Moot Court Competition.
Lauren joined Germer PLLC as an associate attorney in 2019. Lauren’s primary practice area at Germer is litigation, focusing on personal injury. She was named a Houstonia Top Lawyer, a Sagacity Media publication, in 2017 and 2018, and she became a Long-Term Care Power Lawyer in 2018. The Long-Term Care Power Lawyer is an educational program focused on long-term-care trial practice. It is administered by the Long-Term Care Risk/Legal Form, a division of Litigation Management Solutions, L.L.C. She dedicates much of her spare time to the Mexican-American Bar Association of Houston. She is currently the President of MABAH.
