Brent Turk

Brent Turk is a native of Beaumont. He earned his finance degree at Baylor University and his law degree at Loyola in New Orleans. He has practiced in Southeast Texas since 1999. He is also a Lieutenant Colonel in the Texas Army National Guard. He has deployed four times. In Egypt, he served as the legal advisor to the American contingent monitoring complicity with an international accord. In Afghanistan and Iraq, he advised Afghan (provincial level), and Iraqi (national level) security forces on the Rule of Law and International Law of Armed Conflict. He also mentored smaller, more specialized units in Ghana in conjunction with European partner nations. He has also served as the legal officer to Texas forces on the Texas/Mexico border and in support of the 59th Presidential Inauguration.
